Course Description

CS 1400 introduces the Fundamental concepts of object oriented programming, using the C# programming language. It is intended for CS majors and students in other majors that require computer programming skills. It presents the ideas, tools, structure, syntax, and basic Object Oriented design techniques for developing well-formed programs. Students study concepts such as problem solving, program structure, classes, methods, data types, control constructs, and file and console I/O. Students program a number of assignments that demonstrate their understanding of these concepts. CS 1410 is a continuation of this course.
